My name is Francesca Gherro, I was born in Padua on March 26, 1973. I have always liked to seek the meaning of life through photography. Each of my shots captures a moment of life. Sometimes I feel like a thief of images, but I prefer to see myself as a witness to experiences.

I am particularly struck by anonymous people, who do not know that they are actually so important in the world, important to me, a game of glances, two hands touching each other, contrasts born by chance, combinations at the right moment without being planned. Each of my shots is a race against time to capture the fleeting moment that would be lost forever if I didn't manage to click in time.
