The municipality of Veenendaal and Veenvesters are working together with residents and entrepreneurs in the French Gat to make the neighborhood even more beautiful and better. Many of the 1,100 post-war rental homes no longer meet today's requirements and wishes. Through renovation, sustainability and demolition-new construction, homes are created in which it is pleasant to live, with energy costs that can be reduced. And it offers opportunities to improve the neighborhood in the areas of: outdoor space, traffic, safety, climate change, sustainable energy, well-being and health. On to the French Gat of the future!
