The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can now check your glucose levels by scanning the sensor with your phone, or use the FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors to receive alerts when your glucose levels are low or high. [12]

With the FreeStyle LibreLink app you can:

* view current glucose readings, trends and history of glucose measurements;

* Receive low or high glucose alerts when using FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2]

* view reports such as Time in Target Range and Daily Profiles;

* open access to your data to your doctor and family members. [3]

USING THE APP AND SAME SENSOR SCANNER

Signals can be sent to the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner or to the phone (but not to both devices). To receive signals on your phone, you need to launch the sensor through the application. To receive signals to the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner, you must trigger the sensor using the scanner. If the sensor is launched using a scanner, it can also be scanned using a phone.

Please note that the app and scanner do not communicate with each other. To receive complete information on the device, scan the sensor with this device every 8 hours; otherwise, the reports will not contain the full amount of data. APP INFORMATION

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is designed to measure glucose levels in patients with diabetes when used with a sensor.
