As a town, it stands out for its historical relationship with the world of flamenco singing, bull breeding, considered the Cradle of the Bravo Bull, and for its rich gastronomy, included among the towns that make up the Rice Route. Two of its most characteristic dishes give name to the flamenco festivals held here: 'el Mostachón de Utrera' and 'el Potaje Gitano', the most prestigious and oldest in Spain. Utrera has an important monumental heritage, such as El Castillo, the Church of Santiago el Mayor, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Consolation, the Church of Santa María de la Mesa and its Historical Center, declared a Historical-Artistic Site of Cultural Interest. Utrera's Holy Week and its patron saint festivities (the Consolation Fair) are also declared of Tourist Interest.
