'Heart Defects' is an simple educational tool used to understand congenital heart defects and their possible repairs. If you're a PICU nurse, NICU nurse, RT or anyone who wants to refresh on a basic understanding of these pediatric heart defects, this application may be of use. We've covered over 30 different heart phenomenon inside this app, from Aortic Stenosis to Shone's Anomaly. A graphic representation of the heart defect is followed by a brief description and typical treatment when viewing a single defect. Various 'repairs,' such as the Fontan and Norwood procedures, have been covered in this easy to use application. Additionally, if you need a refresh on fetal circulation and the changes that occur during the transition to postnatal life, then look no further.
