Read and Listen to Taurat, Zaboor and Injil Sharif in Balti

This App contains a Balti translation of the Injeel e Muqaddas from the original Greek, and also some books of the Taurat, Zaboor and Saheefong.

It also contains the Lives of the Prophets,/ Qisus ul Ambiya and Seerat al Masih – a summarized presentation of material found in the Taurat, Zaboor, Saheefong and Injil Sharif. This is perhaps easier to start with than the full text in BFT for those who are as yet unfamiliar with the books.

The App also contains the original text in Hebrew of the Taurat, Zaboor and Saheefong and the Greek Injil, and a translation of these full texts (called the Bible) into Urdu and English, with optional audio recordings.

TO USE the APP

1. Download the App program, (approx 1 MB),

2. Either download the data (a few MBs) and also the accompanying recordings (1.5GBs) for offline access OR access all the data and recordings on a pre-loaded Media-Card, available free from [email protected]

Choose BFT (I’d prefer BLT) to read the Balti translation of the full text (currently only the Injeel is available)

Select individual books, chapters and verse in the menu at the top.

Choose split screen in the View Menu at the left hand side to see Urdu or English or Greek while following and listening to the text in Balti.

The text size can be made larger or smaller my pinching or spreading on the screen.

Choose BPH to read the Lives of the Prophets (from the Taurat and Saheefong), and Seerat al Masih (from the Injeel).

Click on the menu at the top to choose which prophet to read about.

• OUTLINE Navigation – to look through the Injil by topical section headings

• Turn the player bar on and off to listen to the audio recording

• Split screen to see the English, Urdu or Greek at the same time

• Border – to turn on and off a surrounding decorative border

• Introductions – to turn on and off book introductions.

• SETTINGS – to change the colour scheme. White on black is good for the dark.
