Overview of State Science

The term State Science comes from the Dutch language, Staatsleer taken from the German term Staatslehre. In English it is called The General Theory of State or Political Theory.

The term State Science was first introduced by George Jellinek who was referred to as the Father of State Science. George Jellinek views state science as a whole and divides it into sections that relate to one another.
