About Indian Tattoo Design

Awesome Simple and easy Indian tattoo designs ideas App.

A tattoo is a form of body modification where a design is made by inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either indelible or temporary, into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment. Tattoos fall into three broad categories: purely decorative (with no specific meaning); symbolic (with a specific meaning pertinent to the wearer); pictorial (a depiction of a specific person or item). Brought to Europe from Polynesia in the early century through naval routes, it was originally largely restricted to naval use, and was a male-only domain. By the later century its use was more widespread and extended to female users. By the end of the many stigmas of the tattoo culture had gone and it moved into the realm of being a fashion accessory for both men and women.

There are a lot of different symbols in the world and the majority of them make for great tattoo designs. They have different meanings ranging from witchcraft symbols, religious, historical and even scientific. It’s always best to find out the meaning behind a symbol before getting it tattooed permanently.

Take all of your ideas to your preferred tattoo artist and ask them to draw something for you. A great artist will be able to take your ideas and incorporate them into a fantastic piece. Don’t get so hung up on the area of your body that your tat will be placed on.

1. Tattoo sleeves – Have you ever heard of these tattoo sleeves? A lot of people regard them as very cool tattoo designs simply because they can look like real life sleeves when inked on your skin. These tattoo sleeves take up most of the areas on your arm, from the back and front portions and even up to your upper arm. The trick into getting these tattoo sleeves is printing them on your arms entirely so that people may automatically assume that they are real life sleeves. A lot of people, especially men, are very fond of creating different patterns and designs which they want for their tattoo sleeves. You may do the same thing, too.

2. Area on your arm you want to put the design – If you have already decided where to put your tattoo design on your arm, then you may want to consider covering your shoulders, too. More often than not, a lot of men do this kind of trick of extending their arm tattoos on their shoulders to make them look more sophisticated and intimidating. Especially if you prefer to have tattoos which have veins or patterns, then definitely you can consider having them sneak towards your shoulders.

3. For women also – Although arm tattoos may typically be known for men, women can still get them if they want to. There is absolutely nothing stopping them from doing so. However, if you are a woman and you are planning to get an arm tattoo, you have to remember that the arms of men have much bigger space than yours so the original design which you will pick may not actually look exactly as what you will hope for. It is important then, to request your tattoo artist to adjust the design so that it can fit perfectly on your arms.

4. Not an easy task – Remember that getting a tattoo is not an easy task. If you are getting an arm tattoo, then you have to expect that it will not get done in only one sitting. You have no other option but to return to your local tattoo artists in most of the time. Keep in mind though that you should be prepared since it will surely be a painful undertaking for you. But nevertheless, the minute you see the inked tattoos on you, you will surely feel that it is all worth the effort.
