The Family Policy Institute (IPF) is an independent non-profit civil corporation. Not linked to public administrations or political parties or religious organizations Aware that the concern for the family is already present in its assistance and scientific aspect, the promoters of the Family Policy Institute (IPF) have placed their focus in the field of promotion and defense of the family before public opinion and public authorities, for which they consider especially important the creation of synergies between the different family entities, both nationally and internationally.

Mission and activities

The Mission of the Institute of Family Policy is the promotion and defense of the family institution, as well as its components, by raising awareness of society and public authorities, the generation of proposals and cooperation projects and the promotion of coordination for these purposes between institutions and family associations of national and international scope.

The Institute seeks to be a catalyst for the adoption of consistent family policies in all political areas, from local communities to supranational organizations. To do this, it carries out an analysis of the situation of the family, in its different dimensions, seeking to highlight its main current or future problems. Likewise, it presents alternatives or solutions to these problems.

The IPF also aims to support other family entities, to facilitate the preparation and feasibility of their claims before the corresponding authorities. The objective is not to supplant the role that corresponds to the different organizations in their respective fields (education, protection of large families, reconciliation of family and work life, etc.), but to encourage collaboration that will help to increase pressure in favor of an efficient family policy.

The Institute develops its Mission through very different activities: preparation of studies and analysis, advisory service, organization of seminars and forums, exchange of experiences and dissemination of "good practices", etc.

Framework

The Family Policy Institute (IPF) inspires its actions in a Reference Framework open to reality and based on the assumption of permanent principles and values ​​about the person, the family and the community.

Scope of action

The Institute has an international character, developing its direct action in the European Union and Ibero-America, for which it has its own offices in various countries and maintains alliances and contacts with similar entities around the world. The headquarters of the Institute is located in Madrid, Spain .
