Is Vegan is a free application that quite exhaustively analyze the presence of animal substances in a food product from the "scan" of the barcode and read all the ingredients and titles cited in the manufacturer's recipe.

Every word, every word, every title, every ingredient, each additive on the labeling of the product is inspected to present the final report and a detailed conclusion on the presence or absence of animal substance:

 - VEGAN FOOD

 - FOOD NOT VEGAN

From the "scan" of a commodity, the application then queries a food database and load all collected items: photo, brand, labels or awards, ingredients, additives, allergens and traces of cross contamination.

The application uses a specially developed algorithm for analyzing the scanned product, with the final a full and detailed report, and a clear and explicit result:

 - GREEN LEAF = food meeting the requirement of vegan diet

 - SHEET RED = food does not meet the requirement of the vegan diet, or where there is doubt

The well developed algorithm can replace alone the whole human reading can be made to the labeling of a food.
