Aldan Drawbar Controller

Drawbar and Overdrive Controller for Roland Fa-06 08 synthesizers.

Aldan Drawbar Controller is special application for real-time controlling of tone wheel organs in Roland Fa-06 08 synthesizers.

The app has several buttons and sliders which are generating system-exclusive midi messages to control drawbars, percussions, rotary(leslie) and overdrive effects.

Pre-requisites:

1) This app works on phones with Marshmallow OS (Android 6 and higher) only.

2) The phone should have USB port and support USB-OTG

3) The phone should be connected to Roland FA-06 08 via USB-OTG (USB-OTG connector and ordinary printer cabel (USBA-USBB)

4) On Roland FA-0608 side USB driver should be changed to “Generic (MIDI only)”.

That is due to Marshmallow API can’t recognize original Roland’s driver "VENDOR(MIDI+AUDIO)".

Just go to MENU/SYSTEM/USB DRIVER, select option “Generic (MIDI only)”, write changes, and restart synth.

Start synthesizer, select TW organ preset, connect phone, run the app and have fun.
