Go out on the streets, protect AR cars, earn points and win a VW Beetle!

The streets in Switzerland are full of cars that need protection, and you can help out! Zurich presents the augmented reality game Car Hunt, in which you will find AR cars in your surroundings. Go out, find the cars, and protect them by putting a warm, woolly Zurich hat on them. But be quick, because the car might disappear before you know it. By protecting cars, you will earn points. Bonus points can be won by protecting special cars and being one of the first to put a hat on a car. And of course, you are in it to win it. Every player has a chance of winning the main prize of a VW Beetle or one of the other super prizes that are rewarded weekly. However, the more points and lottery tickets you collect, the higher are your chances of winning. Car Hunt lasts for 4 weeks. So go out on the streets and become a professional car hunter!

Find (special) cars within your actual surroundings. A map shows where you can find cars nearby. When you are close enough, you can protect the car in augmented reality.

TAKE A ZURICH HAT SELFIE

As a professional car hunter, you can’t go without being prepared and protected yourself. Take a selfie in which you put on a Zurich hat using augmented reality.

HAT YOUR OWN CAR

In addition to the cars you find in the streets, you can also protect the car that is most important to you: your own! Take a picture and cover it with a hat.

EARN POINTS AND COLLECT LOTTERY TICKETS

Every week cool prizes are rewarded. The winners are determined by lottery system, and earning points means you’ll get lottery tickets. The more tickets you have, the higher your chances of winning are.

WIN A VW BEETLE

The main prize is rewarded after the 4 weeks of Car Hunt: a shiny new VW Beetle! At the end of each week, the other cool prizes are rewarded to the lucky winners.
