CollegePaddy is a free college social networking platform that allows registered users (current students, alumni, and affiliates) of various tertiary institutions to connect with each other. It allows users to keep in touch with colleagues and friends, create profiles, upload photos, and video, watch movies/series and send messages (text, audio, and video).

The site includes public features such as:

User Daily Stories - A microblogging feature that allows members to broadcast short messages/announcements to their colleagues. Members are able to create their own story, published images, videos that will be automatically available for 24 hours. Members can use this feature to update their colleagues/friends of current happenings.

Blogs & Forums - Members are able to create their own articles, threads, sections, and forums.

Watch & Download Online Movies - Members can watch and download movies hosted on the platform.

Night & Day Mode - The site comes with two UI modes, Dark and Light modes. Members are able to change the UI by just one click to the mode of their preference.

Point System - Members generate points which can be used to purchase products on the platform by remaining active on the site.

Marketplace - Allows members to post, read and respond to classified ads/products. CollegePaddy's marketplace allows its members connect with other people who want to buy or sell stuff. All transactions occur directly between the members -- CollegePaddy only hosts the exchange; it doesn't get involved in sales.

Groups - Allows members who have common interests to find each other and interact.

Events - Allows members to publicize an event, invite guests and track who plans to attend.

Pages - Allows members to create and promote a public page built around a specific topic.

Presence Technology - Allows members to see which contacts are online and contact them through chat.
