The falling object VR aims to leverage off the benefits of virtual learning to increase hazard and critical control awareness in order to reduce injuries and potential incidents in a heavy industrial workplace. Many theorists tell us that learning retention is most effective when we learn by doing and practicing. This experience requires users to look and find falling object hazards which in-turn increases hazard awareness and reinforces the critical controls required to prevent an injury.
