As this information can be of great importance for several groups of people (diabetes, fitness, sportmen, children ...) only official resources have been consulted.

In this version, the following public data sources have been used:

2. Anses Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire de l’alimentation, de l’environnement et du travail (France)

3. UK Nutrient Databank - Foods Standards Agency (UK Government)

4. BEDCA - Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and Spanish Ministry of Health and Social Policy

Public healths departments in several countries (USA, and most of Europe) maintain complete listing of foods and their content (calories, energy, fats, carbohydrate, etc.) Those databases have been incorporated into this app so you can quickly know the content info from thousands of raw foods and prepared meals.
