The park is an area that contains a component of hard and soft material that supports each other intentionally planned and made by humans in its use as a place of refreshment inside and outside the room. Gardening is more specific because it involves aspects of aesthetics or beauty and spatial arrangement so that it has a function in its existence. In the making of the park there are two elements that are done, namely soft field (softscape) and hard field (hardscape).

Soft fields include planting all kinds of trees, shrubs and grasses.

The harsh grounds include making walkways, ponds, artificial rivers, fountains, cliffs, natural stone laying, gazebos, children's playgrounds, swings, garden lights, drainage systems and watering.

Today almost every city around the world has a landscape agency in charge of planning, building and maintaining parks in the city. All cities are aggressively managing their landscape to compensate for motor vehicle pollution. This big city has an area of 30 percent of its city area for landscaping.
