With the knowledge of the end times, we now know that the Islamic Caliphate will be restored with the arrival of Imam al-Mahdi and the return of 'Isa (a.s.) perhaps in 25-30 years; but we also know that it will not be possible to restore it as long as the Gog and Magog World-Order reigns.

Time constraints did not give me the freedom to rewrite this book so I had to be satisfied with just writing a new Introduction and a few other additions to this book. However, there are many of my public lectures on related topics such as 'Imam al-Mahdi and the Return of the Caliphate', Imam al-Mahdi and the End of Time', 'Pax Islamika: Islamic Concept of International Order', 'The Conquest of Constantinople at the End of Time', etc., books such as 'Jerusalem in the Koran' and essays such as 'Can Muslims Vote in Elections in Modern Secular States?' if read together with this book will provide a broader understanding of the dimensions of end-time scholarship on this topic, God willing.

Three important documents have been included as Appendices. All three are around 100 years old and available to the public.
