Mango service access rights information

Mango uses minimal device permissions for convenience of usability. Next, I will explain why Mango requires these device-related permissions.

[Required] Permission to acquire location

Because Mango is a region-based used goods trading service, it verifies my neighborhood through current location verification. Additionally, location acquisition permission is required to find your neighborhood from your current location.

[Optional] Storage permission - Mobile phone storage access permission

In Mango, when a user uploads a photo while writing, the photo is stored in storage to save on data transmission costs, and then stored again in the cache area at an optimized size before being sent to the server. So I'm using read and write permissions.

[Optional] Camera permission

Camera permission is required to use the camera and photo functions in writing or Mango Chat, to shoot QR codes when logging in to the Mango Chat web version, and to use video functions in Mango Live.

[Optional] Microphone and phone permissions

Microphone permission is required to communicate more smoothly through the Mango phone function in Mango Chat and the voice function in Mango Live.

[Optional] Nearby device permissions

To use the microphone and sound functions on Mango Phone and Mango Live, you need Bluetooth permission from a nearby device.

[Optional] Notification permission

Permission is required to use the push notification function in notifications and chat.

[Optional] Address book permission

When inviting a friend from your device's address book in Global Mango, address book permission is requested.

* You can use the service even if you do not agree to the optional access permissions, but if you do not agree, use of some functions may be restricted.

[Note] If you are using a smartphone with a version lower than Android 6.0, there is a problem in which the user cannot selectively consent to Mango's optional access permissions. (Consent is considered upon installation) Therefore, if possible, it is recommended that users upgrade their smartphone operating system to Android 6.0 or higher using the software update function in their smartphone.
