I nostri sforzi per il ringiovanimento della pittura di Tanjore

Our first step towards this was the setting up of Mokksha Art Gallery & Institute at Chennai, a fully air-conditioned gallery for exhibition and sale of Tanjore Paintings, Wood Wall Art Creations, and an Institute for training budding artists.

Secondly we are in the process of setting up an artist station in the region at the heart of Tanjore Painting, so as to bring together artists in this region and work with them in developing this dying art.

We wish to propagate this art by setting up more galleries for Tanjore Paintings and participating in workshops & cultural festivals. We strongly believe that arts in all forms have always been a big Therapy for Peace and Tranquility and the elite Tanjore Paintings stands a classic among it.
