“Poetry is the light of my life. In every verse of mine there is a bit of my heart, a bit of my good and a bit of my soul. Every time I write it is because I think there is something positive, beautiful that is worth immortalizing. Every time I write I leave a bit of myself in my verses: something profound that comes from the heart.”

Rosa Bertino was born in Messina in 1987. She completed classical studies in her hometown. Graduated in law and trainee in a law firm, she loves art, music and reading. Since 2009 she began writing poetry, inspired by her passions and the universal values ​​of love, family and friendship.

In 2007 he received a "Mention of Merit" at the Silvana Cavaleri Award established by the Giuseppe La Farina classical high school in Messina with a theme on euthanasia.

In the years to come he received other honorable mentions in various literary competitions. In 2013 his poem "Sei amore" was published in the poetic anthology: "Passione Mediterranea" published by Galassia arte.
