To be alarm exact in Android 6 go to settings-> 3 dots->battery saving->all apps, select SimpleAlarm and turn off optimization for that application. Then alarm be exact. (Edit: seems this not work and alarm is inexact in higher than 4.4 android versions and usualy late 0-30 minutes)

Alarm work if you restart phone. In highter than 4.4 android version alarm is inexact and can late 0-30 minutes (usualy late 7 minutes). Alarm duration now 1 second and is vibration.
