There are 3 main statuses for the additives:

- Green. That means the additive is derived from a plan or it is a plant based ingredient.

- Red. These should be avoided as these are all non-plant based. It could be animal or insects based additive. They are clearly marked in the table.

- Grey. These ones are sometimes vegan means that the source of the additive must be checked. If the product is vegan or vegetarian, that means additive is plant based.
