Water discharge represents the velocity of the water flow in units of time. Debit is also the amount transferred in units of time or at a certain point. In the calculation of water discharge the units are often used liters / sec, dm3 / min, liter / hour, liter / minute. In determining the water discharge, we must first study the unit of volume size and time unit, since the flow of water is closely related to unit volume and time unit.

Relationships in time units are as follows:

Ø 1 hour consists of 60 minutes and 3,600 seconds

Ø 1/4 hour consists of 15 minutes and 900 seconds

Ø 1/2 hour consists of 30 minutes and 1,800 seconds

Ø 3/4 hour consists of 45 minutes and - 2,700 seconds
