As we know that all the mechanical components has to produce with the consideration of various standards. Usually following standards are commonly used by mechanical engineers in industries.

1. American Standard

2. Indian Standard

3. Japanese standard

4. German standard etc.

All standard has their own dimension clarification for all types of mechanical elements. So whenever the customer demanding any type of mechanical components has to manufacture as per standard required.

Mainly standards are provided in the following fields of mechanical engineering. They are as listed below.

3. Quality control and quality assurance standards

4. Measurement standards

To find the standard values of any components like dimension of M6 bolt or standard length of channel section, then every engineer uses the standard mechanical handbooks. Mechanical handbooks are the bible for mechanicals to follow the right path regarding to standards. Some of the mechanical handbook are as listed below.

The recent era is of Information Technology and Mobile equipment technology era. So if we are advantaging this new technology in the work of finding the correct data by just clicking the right item from the lists of standard components then it will prove very efficient and fast process.

So as we are future mechanical engineers we decide to do this by taking it as our final year project. We decide to make a mobile application of mechanical handbook which give the user friendly approach to find the correct data.

Our application can run on Android OS platform because of it is very famous and user demanded OS run in handy devices like Mobile phones, Tablets etc.

This will also useful to the new engineers who have not any idea to use various mechanical handbook.
