JB Transport

JB Transport Department Application by ACM-JBIET student chapter.

Designed and developed by the students of ACM student chapter,JB Institute of engineering and technology, under the aegis of Error Labs, the app focuses on digitalising the transport system for 7 colleges of the JB group of Educational Institutions.

JB Transport aims to bring the transport department on to a single platform. In a first of its kind venture, a transport department application as such has never been incorporated in any other college. The app has various features aiming to simplify student transport and provide instant notifications.

Developed by students while keeping a single coherent platform and simplification of student life in mind, the application was made to combat the problem faced by commuters to and fro the college. Having considered this, the tech club of jbiet, sync, developed the app to ensure easier commuting for both students and parents.

Features:

• Entire list of all the college buses travelling around the city.

• Set your primary route (daily route) to monitor daily commute.

• A live notifications tab to keep track of college news such as holidays.

• A college map to navigate through the college.

• An SOS feature to request live location coordinates of bus.

• A notice board to keep an eye on any immediate changes or any information related.
