Education is a systematic process which helps learner to be civilised , liberal and broad minded by imbibing the feeling of unity , democracy and oneness. There is a dire requirement of young minds to have contemporary ideas, percipience and enthusiasm. Fertile and robust education is always created, rooted in the physical and cultural soil of the child, and nourished through interaction with parents, teachers, fellow students and the community. There is a mutuality to the genuine construction of knowledge. The aim of the education is to grow children into productive citizens that use their knowledge , talents and learned skills to sustain themselves and create awareness while pushing the human race forward in areas of equality, equity and harmony.Learning involves understanding, relating ideas and making connections between prior and new knowledge, independent and critical thinking and ability to transfer knowledge to new and different contexts. The cross-curricular thematic approach has been the part of education in primary school. A thematic approach to teaching involves integrating all subject areas together under one theme. The cross curriculum approach helps children relate basic academic skills to the real world. Thematic units are common in the Foundation Phase where children learn through interactive activities.The curriculum is also compact and saves time by teaching multiple subjects at once. Implementation of funfilled structured activity in primary education has made learning an enjoyable act by making it creative and flexible.The need of strengthening and deepening the sense of social responsibility and a keener appreciation of moral and spiritual values is a must amongst the young generation. The wide plethora of information available to learners has become easily accessible because of the advent of technology which offers multi-layered assessment and prompt evaluation to benefit educators and learners.
