The belief of Khatm-e-Nubuwat (ختم نبوت) according to the Ahadith

Allah the Almighty sent a chain of prophets for the direction of mankind. Firstly ALLAH the Almighty sent Adam (AS) as prophet in this world, and last of all, ALLAH sent Muhammad (SAW) as His prophet and messenger.

After Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Allah will never bestow someone with prophet hood till the Day of Judgment. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) himself called him misleader and liar who so ever claim to be a prophet after him. This sacred belief is called “Seal of Prophet Hood” in religion Islam. Allah the Almighty has described this belief in 100 verses of Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has described in 210 Ahadeeths. Mufti Shafi Usmani has compiled all these verses and Ahadeeths in his book “Khatm-e-Nabouwat”.
