Kickboxing (Japanese キ ッ ク ボ ク シ ン グ kikkubokushingu) is a martial art that combines kicking and punching movements. This martial sport relies on intense physical contact such as kicking, punching, and avoiding blows so that it requires strong physical and stamina.

There are several benefits that can be obtained from kickboxing. This exercise is useful for losing weight, forming muscles, exercising muscle flexibility, training speed and agility, coordinating between eyes and hands, increasing mental alertness, exercising balance, perfecting posture and increasing self-confidence.

Kickboxing uses a lot of hand movements such as punching, holding blows and avoiding punches. So almost all hand muscles are used simultaneously without having to repeatedly repeat movements that tend to be boring (like sit ups and push ups).

Kickboxing requires a good balance and the speed of the foot to kick and move. If done regularly, this exercise produces slender legs and tightens the buttocks.

Kickboxing is effective as a stress outlet. The movement of punching, kicking and blocking attacks quickly requires full concentration so that problems in one's mind can be momentarily diverted.
