It discusses how to get closer to Allah wholeheartedly. Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jailani (1077–1166 AD) was a fiqh scholar and tarekat expert who was highly respected by all groups of Muslims, especially Sunnis. In the world of Sufism, he was greatly admired because he had a very high level of piety.

He is a member of the Kurds, a tribe that inhabited the Persian region, now in Iran. His scientific works are numerous, recorded more than the books he managed to write.
