This book is one of the handbooks for the study of Tajweed Science for students. To make it easier for students to memorize tajwid, this book contains naẓam (verses of poetry) written by Imam Muhammad ibn al-Jazari. The translator is Munzir Nazir, whose pen name is Munajat bin Hanah. He translated and explained it into Javanese in every stanza of his poetry accompanied by examples. The purpose of writing is to make it easier for students in Islamic boarding schools to understand and practice the knowledge of Tajweed.

This book contains the basics of Tajwid Science which includes Makhārij al-Hurūf and its characteristics, as well as the laws of Tajwid. The Tajweed aspect explains tarqīq and tafkhīm, idgām, iẓhār, dead laws, and short sentences commonly called mād. The book ends with an explanation of waqf.
