The Book of Minhajul Qowim by Imam Ibnu Hajar Al Haitami was born in 909 Hijriyah and died in 974 Hijriyah.

Imam Ibnu Hajar Al Haitami is one of the most productive scholars of the Shafi'i School.

The obligation to seek knowledge lasts until the life leaves the body. Among the knowledge that must be learned are the procedures for worship such as the rituals of Hajj, zakat, fasting, and also prayer. The most important reference for understanding the procedures for worship is the book of fiqh. If we are of the Shafi'i school of thought, then the book of jurisprudence studied is the Shafi'iyah book of jurisprudence.

Among the quite well-known references to Syafi'i School of jurisprudence is Masailut Ta'lim by Imam Abdullah Bin Abdurrahman bafadhal Al Hadrami. This book is also more popularly known as muqoddimah hadromiyah.

In 744 Hijriyah, Imam Ibnu Hajar Al Haitami ordered the book to become a book entitled Minhajul qowim Syarah Masailut Ta'lim.

The beginning of the Minhajul Qowim book contains a foreword from the publisher. Then it contains a biography of Imam Abdullah Bin Abdurrahman written by Muhammad bin Abu Bakar.

Meanwhile, the biography of the author of the book Minhajul Qowim, namely Imam Ibnu Hajar Al Haitami, is placed on pages 21 to page 30. There the complete line of Imam Ibnu Hajar Al Haitami is stated, namely Shihabuddin Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Hajar al-Haitami. From there it can be understood that the name of Imam Ibnu Hajar Al Haitami is Ahmad.

Apart from the Minhajul Qowim book, he also wrote many other fiqh books such as the Tuhfatul Muhtaj book, the Minhajul Makiyah book and so on.
