The book Riyadhus Shalihin is one of the hadith books that is most full of content and is popular among the public. The content of this book is so important that many scholars have compiled separate books of Syarah to explain the hadiths, both from a riwayah and dirayah perspective.

As stated by the author, Imam an-Nawawy, in the preamble to this book, Riyadhus Shalihin is intended to collect authentic hadiths, which can be a guide to the afterlife; guidance on inner and outer etiquette; collecting suggestions and threats, mental training, moral education, heart medicine, maintenance.

This book is a good tarbiyah (development) book that touches on various aspects of individual (personal) and social life with easy and clear uslub (methods of presentation) that can be understood by ordinary people and ordinary people.

The book of Riyadhush Shalihin has features that other books of the Sunnah do not have and is truly a provision for advisors, a gem for those who receive advice, a lamp for those who take guidance and a garden for the righteous. This is the reason for gaining a high position among the ulama so that they provide sharah, comments and teach it in their halaqohs.

Finally, it cannot be denied that this book is one of the most widely spread and owned books so that its fame has skyrocketed and it has gained a high position among special people and lay people, and it is sufficient (as proof) that mosques generally use it as reading material which is read to the congregation after prayer or before.

Imam Nawawi gave special features in the orderliness and creation of discussion chapters, he divided them into several books and these books were divided into several chapters and then made the book a title for the hadiths contained in the chapters which were many of one type and made the chapters as a title for a group of hadiths that addresses a specific problem.

This book consists of 17 books, 265 chapters and 1897 hadiths. He opened the majority of the chapters by mentioning verses from the Koran that were in accordance with the discussion of existing hadiths and then made orderly and interconnected chapters so that this book could beat other books. which is similar to it.
