He also mentioned in Surat an-Nisa'(4):59 that according to some commentators 'Uli al-Amri' was a scholar and fiqh expert. Based on this verse, it is obligatory to follow him, obtain guidance from him, and carry out his fatwa.

Mbah Moen encouraged Muslims to follow the fourth school of thought "It is mandatory for Muslims to adhere firmly to the religion of Allah and not be divided, they should follow the Koran and Sunnah, and the teachings conveyed by Ulama such as Imam Abu Hanifah, Malik bin Anas, as-Shafi'i, and Ahmad bin Hanbal.”

"Therefore, lay people who are not competent to perform ijtihad are obliged to accept taqlid or follow the opinion of one of the mujtahids." Because taklid is the only way for ordinary people to enter religion. But the taqlid here must not be blindly taclid, so that excessive fanaticism emerges. There are many choices of opinions from sectarian scholars, we can choose one of them and we are not prohibited from changing schools of thought.

Following competent clerics is an effort to continue to adhere to religion correctly. Ulama who always maintain Allah's regulations, carry out the Prophet's Shari'ah. They can also explain God's laws, and be helpers of His religion. So ordinary people are ordered to follow him, and are not allowed to stay away from or be hostile to him. By following it we will obtain a straight path that can save us, both in this world and the hereafter,

Bermazhab is a way or attitude in religion. The sect follows the religious method of religious scholars who are qualified to perform ijtihad. There is no need to doubt this scholar, because digging up the law from the Koran and Sunnah is certainly not easy.
