Knome (spoken as Gnome) is one of the most interactive social applications on the market. It's about you and what you want in a party outing. Get people to know you better. (Hench 'Kno-Me')

Using Auto-tagging software Knome can automatically tag you at a place for all your Buddies to see and allowing other user to see where the party is really at. Whether it's Lit or Chilled, Knome is game for any party.

- One tap auto tagging ("check-in") allows easy location sharing between friends. Simple tap start and be on your way. Your buddies will never be left in the dark. (A check to see where you are will run every 15 min)

- qID Buddy system, invite all your party pals for a lekker jol.

- Place Statistics: the more the Knomes, the better. Knome offers real-time statistics about the amount of user in a place, their sex and their relationship status that keeps you in the social loop.

- 'Specials near you' with our registered client service, Knome can display the latest specials from listed businesses literally footsteps away.

- Social profile, allowing you to express your true party persona to your buddies.

- Place events, if a Knome listed business is having a party, you'll know about it!

- With one tap navigation, you can quickly get directions to your Buddies or a Bar/Night club.

Knome is based on a phase by phase build structure, the version you're seeing now is only the tip of the iceberg!

We plan on bringing in even more features, including a Knome based social network.

Knome is a community based application, therefore it's success is reliant on it's users (or in this case the Knomes in the Social Garden)

Therefore if you truly enjoy using the app and want to increase the experience, get your friends in on it! All are welcome in the Social Garden.

The Knome app is a geolocation tracking app that uses short burst positioning. All user locations are kept locally on the device until a nearby place has been detected.

You are therefore only tagged when you are in a bar/night club.

Your shared data is used for non-personal statistics.

Knome is currently a new release app and could encounter some errors, we ask you to please be patient and in return we will be loyal to the community offering even greater features in the near future.

Due to Knome relying on a new community, we are willing to shape the direction of the app according to the user requirements, so you could help make this app memorable by sending suggestions!

Please note Knome requires internet access for all features, we have an always online social network.

Also note that the auto-tagging and Places feature require GPS permission and signal to work correctly.
