The basic technique of shorinji kempo has 2 characteristics. The technique of punch and kick as a counterattack called "goho" (hard method), and counterattack against catch; for example on the wrist and clothing, break away and attack to slam and throw the so-called "juho" (soft method).
Juho technique is a "soft" technique in shorinji kempo. This technique is consistent on dings, locks, and elakan. This technique is applied to the person being captured or clamped by the attacker. Movement is used to remove the balance of the attacker to gain momentum advantage when attacked.
