The LernBOX Join In is a vocabulary trainer and includes the 1400 most important English terms for initial social education training from the textbook Join In - English for Child Care and Education. The content is divided into 19 subject areas, corresponding to the units in the book. So you can learn according to the unit that is currently in the lesson, you can choose vocabulary or learn about all existing terms. You can individually add your own vocabulary to your LernBOX. Particularly important vocabulary can be set as favorites.

With the LernBOX you learn successfully, because your personal knowledge is taken into account. Terms that you do not yet know are repeated more often than those that you already know well.

The handling is very easy.

In learning mode:

• You learn about one or more selected subject areas.

• Optionally, you learn about all vocabulary.

• You set important vocabulary as favorites for faster access. Or you select terms using the lookup mode.

• Your learning progress is displayed graphically.

• Customize your LernBOX: You can create and learn your own vocabulary.

• Any variants? Decide in which directions you want to learn the cards: English - German, German - English, or both mixed.

• You judge for yourself whether you knew a term or not – please don't cheat, otherwise you won't learn anything!

• If you start a "quick test", randomly selected vocabulary across all subject areas will be queried, regardless of whether you have already known it or not.

In lookup mode:

All vocabulary is listed alphabetically like in a dictionary. You can easily look up all terms with the search function of the LernBOX. Don't you know how to spell a word correctly? No problem, after the 3rd letter entered you will receive a selection list with terms. If your subject teacher uses an English word that you don't understand - look it up quickly and you'll know what it's about. This is of course also possible in professional practice!
