Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor (born in Takapuna, New Zealand, November 7, 1996, age 21), known by the stage name Lorde, is a singer and songwriter from New Zealand. Early in his teens, he signed with Universal Music Group and then paired it with songwriter and record producer Joel Little. Her first mini album, The Love Club, was released on November 22, 2012, and her first single "Royals" debuted at New Zealand Top 40, and also topped Billboard Hot 100 in 2013, making her the first New Zealand solo singer as well as the youngest artist since 1987 whose song successfully topped the charts in the United States.
