Sufi is an ancient secret spiritual community (freemasonry) whose origins have never been traced and recorded. They themselves are not interested in posting facts about themselves, because they are content to explain facts with their own perspectives in different regions and at different times.

They have no shrines, clerical organizations or other religious instruments. They are not even called by inclusive names that might force their doctrinal suitability. "Sufi" is nothing more than a Quaker-like nickname which they accept with a great sense of humor.

"We are the Friends" or "People like us", is how they refer to themselves.
