MATS helps families with AD(H)S to create a more relaxed everyday life

MATS - Mastering ADHD is the new app from the creators of the successful and award-winning support solutions Master Cody - Talasia (Mathematics) and Master Cody - Namagi (German)< /b> for elementary school children.

With MATS - Mastering ADHD we are now actively supporting elementary school children and their parents in overcoming everyday challenges such as doing their homework.

Follow Mats and Matti, two children with AD(H)S background, who report on their experiences in the environment of their families. By the way, our wise master Cody is also an AD(H)S specialist and is available to help and advise Mats and Matti - and of course you too.

It is important that you work together to deal better with ADHD in the family and to prevent violent situations from arising in the first place. MATS - Mastering ADHD offers you a common thread with numerous lessons for parents and children, which you can follow together.

A numerous scientifically based exercises are just waiting to be worked on by you in a team or on your own. We motivate and encourage you to exchange, share your mutual expectations and each other better to get to know each other and vote.

Various strategies help you with this, such as if-then plans, the establishment of routines and signal cards. Of course, there is no shortage of fun, because various mini-games b> train executive functions (these are the cognitive abilities responsible for controlling and self-regulating one's own behavior) and metacognition (this is the ability to reflect on one's own thinking) .

Very important: everything you learn in MATS - Mastering ADHD is aimed at then being implemented in everyday life. It would also be stupid if all this stayed in the app, because you don't live in it after all. Logical, right?

To ensure that MATS - Master ADHD meets the high quality requirements that you are allowed to place on a Meister Cody app, scientists from the TU Dortmund (Prof. Dr. Tobias Kuhn and team) were involved in the development. and the University of Duisburg-Essen (Prof. Dr. Maic Masuch and team) significantly involved.
