This book is popularly known as the easy encyclopedia of Islamic history.

Allah says: “O you who believe, fear Allah; and everyone should see what he has done for the next day "(QS Al-Hasyr: 18). The meaning of wisdom and lessons here is as follows:

First: In the history of Islam, there are good examples and role models, which we must follow. Islam has been successfully applied at its best, and we must repeat it. Islamic history is full of figures that we should emulate.

Allah said: "You are the best people who are presented in the midst of mankind ...". That is the generation of the Prophet and his companions.

The Prophet said: "The best generation is my generation, then the next generation, then the next generation." That is the generation of the salaful ummah: 1) the generation of the Prophet and his companions, 2) the tabi'un generation, and 3) the tabi'ut tabi'in generation.

Second: In the history of Islam, there are examples that are not good, which we should not repeat. The Prophet said, "A believer will not fall into the same hole for the second time".

Third: By studying Islamic history, we will understand sunnatullah (God's provisions) in history. Allah says: "Did they pay attention to the provisions (of Allah) against the former. There is no change in Allah's provisions, and there is no deviation in Allah's provisions "(QS Faathir: 43). "Didn't they walk the earth and see how the end of those before them ..." (QS Faathir: 44).

While the second reason: Approximately one-third of the Qur'an is the story of the ancients (history). In fact, most of the contents of the Old Testament (Torah) are stories of ancient people (history). This shows the importance of knowing and studying history.
