If you think that whatever you have done in this life will remain with you till this birth, it is not so. Whatever knowledge and experience you gain in this birth, it also happens with you in the next life and you get the benefit of it in the next life also. So do it in this birth only and prepare to succeed in another life.

In this way knowledge and experience reaches in the next life

Lord Shri Krishna has clarified this fact in the Gita that when a person starts sacrificing a body, then by attaining the knowledge and experience gained by the body, he is placed in the center of the soul.

After this, when the soul enters the other body, then it brings the knowledge and experience to that new body. That is why Sri Krishna says -

Shri Krishna himself has certified this by eating soil in his childhood, because before that Shri Krishna had taken the Avatar. The earthen vessel kills and eats. It is said that since the incident of eating Shri Kirti's soil, young people started eating dirt only.

The result of knowledge and experience of previous generations

It may be heard or seen that there are some children who, in short life, begin to do great things with their knowledge and activities. Actually it is the result of the accumulated knowledge and experience of the ancestors.

Swami Ramukshdasji says that getting the instrument of prenatal material is exactly the same as someone sleeping on the road and sleeping on the shore. When he wakes up, he will stay as much as he has decided - only that he will start the journey ahead.
