The book in the hands of Readers is written to explore the basic principles of respect for knowledge. The author is Shaykh Dr. Salih bin Abdullah al-Ushaimiy hafizhahullah. A great scholar of Saudi Arabia who is known for his patience and perseverance, and tenacity in guiding his students to study religion using the right method. Through a serial program known as Barnâmaj Ushûl al-'Ilmi which is divided into four stages. He always started the program by studying the book Ta'zhim al-'Ilm.

As far as we know on this theme, he wrote three books. 1. Ta'zhîm al-'Ilm. 2. Syarah Ta'zhîm al-'Ilm. 3. Khulâshah Ta'zhîm al-'Ilm.

It is the translation of the third book, which is now before the Readers. We originally translated this book for use as a guidebook for family studies at home. In order to take advantage of the much available time during the current pandemic.

The translation process takes about a month. In the midst of busyness and other activities.

In order for the translation to be correct and easy to understand, we discussed a lot and asked our teachers and fellow preachers. Jazahumullah khaira. Also read Syarah Ta'zhim al-Ilm. Of course also going back and forth to open the dictionary, pondering for a long time and thinking about the right translation editor.
