This study describes the Qibla direction and the accuracy of the Qibla direction of mosques in Tulungagung Regency, East Java. The object of this study were 10 mosques in Tulungagung Regency, which are spread over several districts, including Kedungwaru, Boyolangu, Sumbergempol and Ngunut Districts.

Determining the Qibla direction of the mosques must have been carried out by their founders tens of years ago. However, in today's modern times, and supported by various methods and technological sophistication, then reviewing the Qibla direction of these mosques is of course a necessity. This is none other than because in fact, there are several mosques in Tulungagung Regency whose Qibla direction is not correct and leads to the Qibla that should be.

Because this research is included in field research on the method of determining and accuracy of Qibla direction, the data sources in this study include primary and secondary data sources. The methods used to collect data are interviews, observation and documentation. This researcher made observations by measuring the Qibla direction again for 10 mosques in Tulungagung to compare the accuracy of each measurement in each mosque. Several tools are used to measure it, such as bencet or miqyas, istiwa stick, rubu' mujayyab, compass, theodolite, and others. While the analysis used is descriptive-comparative analysis.
