Of course, Mira can be used without restriction on all Android devices with version 5.0 or higher, alternatively also via web app: https://melden.migraene-radar.de/ We thank all interested parties and participants for their understanding for our research project have made possible.

Are you suffering from migraines or other headache attacks?

Then take part in the Migraine Radar research project. As a participant, we provide you with a free, individual migraine and headache diary in the form of this app and the web platform at https://melden.migraene-radar.de. You can view and edit your seizures both in the app and on the web, or report new seizures as well. The web platform also offers you additional functionality, such as downloading your own seizures in PDF and CSV format. You can easily print out your diary, e.g. to present it to your doctor. You can always access current and individual evaluations of your reported seizures.

How do you support the research project by participating?

The aim of the project is the systematic investigation of factors that can trigger paroxysmal headaches such as migraines or tension headaches. This relies on the cooperation of many patients who, after registering, report their seizures via a web application or smartphone apps.

Previous studies were often only very regionally oriented, for example by evaluating patient data from a pain clinic, and often only a very small number of seizure reports were available. We therefore want to collect a large number of seizure reports nationwide - all those affected from Germany, Austria and Switzerland can take part in the project - this will enable a large number of evaluations.

A project of the Institute for Information Systems at the University of Hof in cooperation with the Migraine and Headache Clinic Königstein and the Institute for Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology at the University Medical Center Rostock, funded by the Bavarian Sparkassenstiftung.
