88% of Indians are unlikely or reluctant to assist injured victims of road accidents because of legal hassles, repeated police questioning and court appearances.

Most of the middle class rides a bike/motorcycle and cannot afford car which comes which safety features like air bags, Thanks to affordable smartphones which has the same airbag sensors to detect accidents/crash.

What we do and How we do it?

A Smartphone application which aims to save lives during road accidents by acting as an emerging alert system and also inhibits the usage of phone while driving/riding.

We have created an app for social good, which would primarily address these.

1. By alerting the loved ones immediately in-case of a road accidents with the accident location.

2. By preventing the use of mobile phone while riding by automated-reply feature.

We often "turn off" GPS and 3G data for issues related to battery drain & data charges and any app would be incomplete if it relied on above parameters for location.

Mishapp is the "ONLY" app which is fool-proof is deducing location by just having a cell tower network signal.

The phone uses the same accelerators sensors and impact equations used in a car for airbag activation.

Also, The app has multiple layers of protection to prevent FALSE POSITIVES - Like here an Alarm goes on for 20 seconds incase of an emergency - If the user doesn't snooze we assume he is unconscious and send the alert.

And sometimes when you are riding and say your boss calls – All that you would want to do is pick the call just tell him that you will later as you are riding; But as any action with phone leads to distraction and could prove fatal.

How about an app which can deduce you are driving and automatically inform callers with an SMS.
