OUR EMERGENCE:

The emergence of Monnet DAV Public school has been a journey since 2006 from a small scale initiative catering to the educational needs of the children of MIEL employees and workers to a rapidly growing institution covering the educational needs of people residing in its close proximity, committed to the creation of a learning environment, conducive to the demand of a developing nation and global challenges, under the control and management of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi.

The Monnet DAV Public School came into existence in the year 2006 after signing the Memorandum of Understanding on 3rd of February 2006 between the Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd, Raipur and DAV College Trust & Management Society, New Delhi. DAV Educational Institution is a Streamlined Educational Institution on the horizon of the education field is committed for the creation of a learning environment, conducive to the demand of a development to strengthen the Nation and Global challenges. Monnet Management decided to run an English medium CBSE affiliated school in association with this D.A.V. Educational Institution.

In a brief journey, the school has added many feathers in its cap by producing the best results in the board examinations being conducted by CBSE in the classes X and XII. It is a proud feeling to announce that the alumni of the school are pursuing their higher education in medicine, engineering, CA, law, nursing, teaching, agriculture and many more from the most prestigious institutions like IIT, NIT, VIT, and other universities of India and abroad.

In non-scholastic domain, the school has been crowned the International School Award ( ISA) by the internationally acclaimed UK based organization British Council twice by completing the Co-Currical activities collaborating with the partner schools from Brazil, Ghana, Srilanka. Again, the school has registered for the third ISA title.

With the objective of heading for excellence, the classrooms became digital with the installation of smartboards. It provides the virtual as well as joyful experience of teaching. As we believe in using technology for education provokes student’s curiosity, boost their engagement, and leads to better learning and comprehension.

We attach a significant value to Sports activities as we believe that agile mind and a sturdy physique is an outcome of indulgence in Sports. Besides, Sports help in building a healthy team spirit. Team sports prepares a child to the method of performing in a group and for individual sports the school grooms and trains a student to learn and participate. Our students are actively participating in SGFI recognized DAV National Sports tournaments in which the school has been emerging Winner and Runner Up team in the previous showpieces. Moreover, the students are participating and clinching medals in SGFI state and national level tournaments and CBSE conducted tournaments.

Installation of fire hydrants designed and approved by the National Fire safety is a milestone development to avert fire disaster. The entire school campus is under 24x7 CCTV surveillance to avoid and monitor any mishap.
