MTB Reventazón

MTB Reventazón is a recreational cycling event, in the Turrialba canton

MTB Reventazón is a recreational, non-profit cycling event in the attractive Turrialba canton and mainly on the banks of the Reventazón River.

It is organized by the Administrative Board of the Turrialba Special Education Center, as well as officials, collaborators and sponsors.

It has been carried out since 2002, accumulating 14 editions with great participation of cyclists from all over the country, together with their companions.

The event also benefits local institutions such as the Home for the Elderly and the Red Cross of Turrialba, as well as local merchants and artisans.

The event is carried out with the objective of improving the infrastructure, purchase of equipment and materials for the different needs of children and young people of the Special Education Center of Turrialba, which has more than 350 students aged between 0 months and up to 22 years old These children have special learning needs, or a level of motor disability.
