Information to passengers about the changes in the operation of public transport in Poznan.

To meet the expectations of our passengers, we have created a mobile application "myMPK", whose main task is to inform about changes in the functioning of public transport.

The application within the "News", "Communication events" and "Repairs and difficulties" has been equipped with a notification system. This means that application users will be informed about new messages under the abovementioned three functionalities.

The "myMPK" application works based on the Voice Assistant system, which means that it can be used by blind and visually impaired people.

The application consists of nine functionalities:

"Virtual Monitor" - thanks to this functionality you can check the real time of arrival of a tram or bus to a specific stop while informing about the facilities that the oncoming vehicle has. The Virtual Monitor has the ability to search for the nearest located stops by GPS coordinates and to remember the most frequently used stops.

"Schedule" - a place where all timetables are divided according to stops and lines. You can add a stop to your list of favorites.

"News" - informs about all important events in the life of the company, ranging from investment and development information to the organization of promotional and advertising activities.

"Communication events" - this is information about the most important events in the city that cause sudden changes in the functioning of public transport.

"Renovations and difficulties" - is to provide information about any planned changes in the operation of public transport.

"Tourism" - informs about the functioning of tourist lines and the Maltanka Park Railway.

"Work" - the latest job offers at MPK Poznań Sp. z o.o.

"Poll" - is to collect opinions of application users and also public transport passengers regarding the functioning of public transport in the city.

"About MPK" - is a package of the most important information about Miejski Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne w Poznaniu Sp. z o.o.

"Contact" is a way for communication of application users and public transport passengers with MPK Poznań Sp. z o.o.

The application also has a quick connect button with the Poznań Kontakt Office, which helps in the field of broadly understood passenger information.
