Noir Canada: pillage, corruption et criminalité en Afrique is a book written by Alain Deneault in collaboration with Delphine Abadie and William Sacher, member of the Collectif ressources d'Afrique, published by Écosociété. Also contributed to the research and its development Pierrette Abadie, Adrien Beauduin, Claire Gauthier, Frantz Gheller, Chowra Makaremi and Caroline Mouette1. Published in April 2008, the book contains 352 pages.

The book denounces the abuses committed by Canadian multinationals in Africa in terms of economic crime, destruction of the environment, forced displacement or even the hidden financing of civil wars. Noir Canada evokes the uniqueness of Canada as the legislation from which many companies in the extractive sector operate around the world.

The authors of the book did an exercise in sharing and dialogues. All sources used are scientific and taken from public research.

By its title, the book explicitly refers to the work of French Africanist François-Xavier Verschave and his book Noir Silence.
