A few weeks back, Noise, famous for its smart accessories, had launched the ColorFit Pro 2, the company’s latest fitness smartwatch, and the successor of last year’s ColorFit Pro. It comes with a slew of features including color touch screen, new user interface, improved pedometer, and much more. We had this device for more than a week, and here’s our take on it.

Software, performance, and battery

The ColorFit Pro 2 is compatible with both Android and iOS. To pair up with the smartphone, users need to install the ‘NoiseFit Sport’ app from Google Play Store or App Store. Once done, you need to fill your physical details, such as height, weight, gender, and birth year. You can catch a glimpse of your data, including Activities, Sleep, and heart rate.

If you want in-depth data, head on to Details section. This device comes with a sleep tracker, where it makes use of the sensor to detect motion and analyse data for sleep. The sleep tracking is pretty good, where it shows deep sleep, light sleep, and awake option. Apart from that, the graphical representation is neat, minimal, and easy to understand. But there is more room for improvement.

You can add set alarms too, but the intensity of the vibration is below average, more or less equal to the ColorFit Pro. For commuters like me, the music controller function is highly useful, where you can long tap on the play/pause and track change functions to control your music.

Talking about the performance, the company has made some improvements to the second-gen ColorFit Pro. During our usage, we found the Noise ColorFit Pro 2 to be tracking steps as well as sleep decently if not accurate.

In our case, decent means the margin of error is very less compared to other fitness bands at this price point. The heart rate monitor works decently as well. However, there is no GPS built into the watch, and thus, it cannot track the routes of your outdoor fitness pursuits.
